The Company:
Our client has exploration, production and development projects across over 12 countries globally. Our client has unrivalled expertise in deep water projects in a variety of locations. This oil major currently producing at 4 locations across Australia and is extensively exploring in Australian waters.

The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our client's Australia HR team. This role is responsible to work with senior leaders to provide strategically aligned HR advice and support to the Australia Production Unit and business support functions in the Australia region.

You will partner with business leadership to provide HR support, and your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Leadership in developing and executing HR strategies
• Ensure HR governance and compliance is met for all legislative and internal controls and process
• Develop, implement and oversee policies/procedures
• Undertake HR Project work in alignment with business objectives (organisational redesign, process improvement, etc)
• Recognise the medium-to-long term (2- to-5 year) needs for resources and planning to fill requirements by means of successful retention and recruitment
• Advise key stakeholders of employee relations and organisational issues
• Leverage broad business and HR understanding to set medium-long term business-wide HR strategies that drive organisational effectiveness

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A Bachelor degree in Human Resources or Commerce is essential with a minimum of five years' experience in Human Resources, including:

• Development and implementation of HR policies/procedures
• Development and delivery of learning and development solutions
• Employee relations and dispute resolution
• Rewards/remuneration systems
• Performance development and management systems
• HR information systems
• Demonstrated generalist HR internal consulting experience
• Project management experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Oil and Gas experience highly desirable
• Strong teamwork and influential skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
