The Role:

Responsible for maintaining a Human Resources Program for Baku and providing advice and guidance to all levels of management on HR, Payroll, benefits and associated matters

.Coordinate the recruitment of hourly and salaried positions including development of position descriptions, placement of advertisements, interviewing, reference checking and drafting letters of offer.
.Facilitate the hiring process by ensuring completion of required documents and facilitating employee orientation.
Act as a resource for employees and supervisors in providing information concerning HR, payroll, benefits and company procedures.Management of the work permit process – including implementation of system for tracking expat movements, visas and approvals.
Deal with external requests from third parties regarding the company or individual employees..Manage Personal Injury files, including first injury reports and liaise with employees, physicians and the insurance carriers.
Manage travel register and maintain record of who is in/out of country at any given time.
Ensure that a personnel (salary and hourly) filing system is established and maintained in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
Manage local Health Care requirements including for expats
Supervise additional departments: Catering, Security and ancillary staff.
Handle all enquiries / disputes received from works committee
Dealing with issues arising re expats/inpats. Including local induction on arriving in Azerbaijan.
.Processing salaried local monthly and weekly payroll. At all times ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Fluent English
- Good organizational skills.
- Knowledge in HR and Legislative requirements
- Have significant local labour knowledge
- Strong analytic skills.
- Good man-management and negotiation skills
