The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.
The Role:
The Human Resources Officer provides support to all levels of the project in a broad range of HR activities.
• Previous HR experience at Officer level
• Solid understanding of HR administrative processes
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, build relationships and provide advice to Line Managers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills to be able to multi-task and prioritise numerous activities
• Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills
GENERALIST HR
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the managers within assigned departments to address HR issues in their teams.
• Provide timely HR advice to project personnel in areas such as employment terms and conditions and project policies and procedures.
• Regularly liaise with members of the HR departments to co-ordinate corporate and project HR activities and ensure best practice.
• Identify and implement HR improvement initiatives for the project.
• Liaise with the Deployment and Construction teams to ensure the successful mobilisation of personnel to Gorgon.
• Assist with the development and implementation of project allowances, guidelines and policies
• Conduct Exit Interviews and analyse exit data
• Assist the HR Lead – Infrastructure with both strategic and day-to-day HR activities.
HR ADMINISTRATION
• Oversee the work carried out by the HR Administrator with respect to issuing Personnel Requisition Forms (PRF), submitting Personnel Approval Forms (PAF), Change of Status (COS) forms and other administrative duties.
• Co-ordinate the maintenance of the PAF database (KJVG Man-Hour Cost Control System) to ensure all information is current and correct, and PAFs are submitted to the client where required.
• Work closely with the finance department to ensure correct procedures are in place for PAF processing and timesheet entry.
• Regularly liaise with department managers to ensure their manpower planning is up-to-date and personnel have an active PAF.
• Assist with the maintenance of the Personnel Register to ensure the details of all New Starters, Mobilisations and Demobilisations are tracked by HR, and that all project-based HR activities for new starters and leavers are completed.
• Run HR reports as required.
RECRUITMENT
• Liaise with the recruitment team and Joint Venture Partner HR representatives to identify recruitment issues
• Maintain up-to-date information on project vacancies in the relevant departments on the Staffing Requirements spreadsheet.
• Liaise with Line Managers to ensure the Recruitment process on the Project is followed, including completion of PRFs for all vacancies.
