The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
As a HV Product Specialist you will:

• Be responsible for the Technical Support of High Voltage Products
• Manage sub-suppliers
• Liaise with the tendering team and give technical input
• Liaise with contractors on-site, resolving any issues.
• Ensuring that each product is becomes type registered
• Reviewing schematics and block diagrams
• Ensuring that overseas manufacturing sites understand all regulatory requirements for products on the UK market.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a HV Prouct Specialist you will:

• Have an mimimum of a HNC in Electrical/Mechanical engineering
• Have experience in the design and manufacture of HV Electrical Products (11KV minimum)
• Be ENA assessed
• Be National Grid registered
• Have considerable experience in the Utilities and Transmission sector.
• Have good financial acumen, completing projects within budget.
• Possess excellent presentation skills
• Have a good understanding of the workings of DNO's and National Grid

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• A degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering will be ideal.
