The Role:
As a Hybrid Engineer, you will be part of the next generation of premium vehicles.

Anticipating consumer demand and responding to the environmental issues that shape the automotive industry, you’ll have the most advanced systems and technology in the world at your disposal. After all, the market for your work is truly global. You’ll be instrumental in building the next generation of vehicles that will grab attention on the world stage.

Together with an engineering related degree you’ll need proven experience in at least one of a range of areas

Control Engineer
• Can design a functional Control System
• Capable in Matlab/Simulink, preferably TargetLink

Calibration Engineer
• Can calibrate a Powertrain, preferably Hybrid for driveability
• Capable in calibration tools such as INCA or equivalent

Functional Safety Engineer
• Capable of the delivery of the safety case in complex control systems.
• Skilled in analysis of safety including to the ISO26262 standard

Programme Management
• Proven ability to manage mixed teams to deadlines and deliverables
• Automotive experience, preferably in Electrical or and Powertrain

Simulation Engineer
• Proven capability in complex CAE and modelling
• Capable in Matlab/Simulink

Systems Engineer
• Capable of requirements management including the use of systems such as DOORS
• Able to design systems and execute them in a complex product

Vehicle Integration and commissioning Engineer
• Skilled in the creation of complex electrical systems, design and execution
• Capable in network and interface design, use of such tools as CANalyser

Cooling Engineer
• Can design a functional cooling system for Powertrain and Electrical systems
• Skilled in quality tools and experienced in CAE, rig and vehicle based development

Vehicle Attribute Engineer
• Skilled design guidance from an understanding of automotive regulations and legislation
• Knowledge of automotive vehicle engineering with hybrid system knowledge desirable

Electrical Engineer
• Capable of design and development of complex electrical or electronic system.
• Experience of the development of sophisticated battery systems for vehicle use.
