The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Assess condition of Hybrid HV development facility and report status to management forums when required.
Support development of commissioning plans and schedules to demonstrate capability of simulation rigs - e.g. propshaft dtno (cell VE2) with Hybrid powertrain capable of simulating electrical loads and energy transfers in drive-cycle and static conditions.
Work with FMEAs & DVPs to understand test requirements.
Advise on selection of appropriate test methodology equipment and facilities.
Create test plans and schedules.
Document test equipment and facilities including user manuals, bill of materials and fault-finding guides.
Carry-out tests: Instruct & support engineers carrying out tests on Hybrid test facilities.
Direct activities of Dyno operators.
Communicate test progress.
Provide objective data-driven test reports to enable engineers to create subjective test reports and technical evaluations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience employed in Automotive sector.
Test & Development of electro-mechanical systems.
Documentation of engineering facilities, tests and equipment.
Safety related systems.
Environmental test.
Component & System test.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Good communication skills, the ability to pass on learning to others.
Root-cause identification. 8D problem solving, Six sigma methodologies.
Project Management.
Microsoft Project
