The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
Our client is looking for a Hydrocarbon Accountant/Engineer to develop our clients accounting system in the pre-operation phase and then operations phase.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

Pre-Operate Phase:
• Responsible for creating and developing the production accounting system. Working with the appropriate system application contractor
• Responsible for developing the daily, monthly reports and allocation procedures ensuring all stakeholder and JV participants requirements are met
• To develop lost/deferment production processes and reporting
• To develop processes to integrate with relevant disciplines providing input into the hydrocarbon accounting process

Operate Phase:

• To own and manage the production allocationand reporting business process
• To perform well data validation on the hydrocarbon accounting system outputs includingwell allocation, field allocation and Terminal allocation
• To ensure that daily and monthly reports are accurant and issued on time ready for distribution to the relevant stakeholders, JV participants and for internal reporting
• To provide lost/deferment production opportunity
• To liase with the relevant disciplinesto ensure respresentative well tests are being used for the allocation
• To collate and distribute production forecast in accordance with commercial agreements
• Monitor, allocate and prepare appropriate reports associated with hydrocarbon production ie fuel, flare and CO2
• Interfacing with laboratory and incorporate analysis results into the allocation and tariff process

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:

• Degree in a related engineering technical area
• Experienced in offshore and LNG operations and user agreements, commercial awareness and competency

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experienced in hydrocarbon accounting processes, procedures and packages
• Experience of business systems: SAP, Microsoft Packages and EDW
• Experience of Technical Systems: Prosper, GAP, Pipesim, Hysis, Pro11, Avocet, Generic Reservoir/Petroleum Eng Models, Network well models, stimulation models, completion models
