The Company:
Our client is the largest oil company in Saudi Arabia.

The Role:
We seek an experienced engineering specialist with extensive experience in Hydrotreating and Hydrocracking processing to join our Process and Control Systems Department/Downstream Process Engineering Division, to serve as the Company Technical Authority in the challenging area of Hydroprocessing and clean fuels. The Downstream Process Engineering Division provides expertise in refining processes through the following services: catalytic conversion, distillation and treating, and flare and relief systems. The specialist will work with a large group of refining specialists providing support to The largest oil company in Saudi Arabia’s refining facilities and technology program.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering with 10 years experience (Advance degree in Chemical Engineering preferred). Should have extensive design and operating experience in Hydroprocessing (Hydrotreating and Hydrocracking) and the manufacture of cleaner fuels. Essentially, the candidate should possess excellent computer skills as well as excellent oral/written presentation and technical report writing skills.
Additional Exercise Required:

The candidate must have a very good experience in refinery processes.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The candidate will be able to:

Support and troubleshoot refineries.
Review and scope new capital projects.
Participate in project commissioning as well as retrofits and process medications.
Monitor catalyst performance, regeneration and change out.
Utilize the latest technologies in recommending new generations of catalyst to improve fuel quality.
Provide proposals of preliminary designs for new process facilities, catalyst and additives evaluation, troubleshooting of existing facilities, optimization of existing operations, and the introduction of new technology to improve profitability and meet strategic objectives.
The candidate should have the ability to coach and mentor young refining engineers.
