The Company:
Our Client is an international oil and gas company with operated production of about 600,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and specialise in turning marginal and challenging fields into commercial successes.

The Role:
Accountable for proactively developing and managing the department planning and analytical activities to ensure Safe and reliable delivery to the satisfaction of stakeholders via collaboration and innovation.
Continue to develop and implement standardized planning processes and tools to improve consistency.
Ensure alignment to MOQ’s Integrated Planning Process through specific planning tools as well as syndicated or proprietary management systems that enhance the level of thinking, understanding and quality of planning, Thereby, improving cross functional business outcomes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Health, safety & Environment
• To ensure that all I&R activities are planned to deliver high standards of health, safety and environmental performance, in accordance with any legislative requirements and in line with industry best practice.
• Work towards an incident free operation by maintaining a positive health, safety, and environmental culture amongst all of the staff and contractors involved in the planning and execution of I&R activities.
• Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety and the protection of the environment.
Department Planning
• Create and manage an I&R Department Plan
• Collaborate with senior department leadership to provide deeper insights and understanding into the dynamics of their specific business through the development of disciplined and thorough planning and performance analysis.
• Assist Activity Owners in developing fit for purpose plans for assigned activities.
• Contribute to defining risk, resource requirements, and alignment with business unit objectives.
• Ensure compliance with requirements, as they relate to the execution of department’s activities.
• Ensure strong collaborative relationships within department and with internal and external stakeholders to ensure progress and delivery against plan.
• Define and develop a department planning framework that supports a top down, rolling-wave integrated approach that is integrated into the Operating Rhythm.
• Contribute to the MOQ planning community.
• Contribute to the development of IAP process
Maintenance Excellence
• Support in the roll out of maintenance processes
• Review and contribute to I&R documents in particular the Planning process and documents, POB planning, histograms and OVN process
• Contribute to the development of scheduling as an activity supporting IAP
• Make offshore visits
Performance Management
• Assist Department head by identifying areas of risk and opportunities in the plan.
• Challenge the readiness and achievability of the plans
• Analyze and feedback areas of non – conformance to the process.
Developing Proactive mind-sets
• Coach and guide team members on planning best practices to ensure compliance with MOQ’s Planning Process

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Knowledge of onshore and offshore maintenance practices
• Broad knowledge of maintenance systems and processes with I&R
• Good knowledge of planning and scheduling tools (MSP, Primavera, SAP, MP5+)
• Highly motivated and eager to contribute to continuous improvement and the success of the operation
• Undertake personal development programmes as required to keep technically up to date
• Promote lateral learning and best practice
• Work flexibly as part of a team and provide support and training to other team members to enhance flexible working
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

• Preferred degree available
• 8 years + experience in oil and gas industry
