The Company:
Our client is a major Oil and Gas company

The Role:
The main responsibilities are:
Full time based in Korea, assisted by a supervision/inspection team, he shall ensure that Topsides Contractor MECHANICAL, ARCHITECTURE AND HVAC construction and pre-commissioning achievements are in accordance with the Contract. This is including prefabrication and construction activities performed both in subcontractors workshops (all in Korea) and on yard.

Scope: - 3 modules built in yard (Process 10 000 T, Utility 10 000 T, Flare 2000 T)

• Participate to recruitment process of Instrumentation, ICSS and Telecom inspectors
• Follow any Instrumentation, ICSS and Telecom External Subcontractors qualification process if any.
• Ensure appliance of the requirements within his team by setting on KPI’s regularly updated.
• Setup and manage a Instrumentation, ICSS and Telecom inspection/supervision team which is highly motivated and works diligently to meet the project targets (HSE, Quality and Schedule).
• Participate actively to the constructability reviews organized by CTR and follow-up the actions register (related to Instrumentation, ICSS and Telecom works).
• In the early stage, proactively propose any optimization on the design to improve constructability.
• Review and comment the Contractor construction and pre-commissioning procedures. Clarify with the Contractor all the methods and services activities including lifting operations (related to Instrumentation, ICSS and Telecom works).
• Ensure proper preservation of Instrumentation, ICSS and Telecom equipments/items at all stages.
• Review all CTR periodic reports related to Instrumentation, ICSS and Telecom construction. Monitor production indicators and histograms to estimate the general trend of the construction. Identify potential risk of delay in the construction execution and formulates remedial actions.
• Liaise closely with Contractor supervisor for all constructions issues. Develop tools to follow-up all construction matters and make sure that the related actions are implemented. Continuously expedite the resolution of construction issues with the Contractor to meet schedule key dates.
• In close cooperation with the engineering team assists to preparation of answers to all Contractor query related to Instrumentation, ICSS and Telecom construction matters.
• Manage, with his team, inspections related to prefabrication in various workshops in Korea and related to works performed on Yard (except welding NDT inspections managed by QC team).
• In close coordination with the CPY QC Team, raise, follow-up and close quality issues via quality observation cards or NCRs.
• Ensure proper coordination with the commissioning team in order to control the interfaces at RFC stage. This includes joint monitoring of Contractor RFC dossier and punch list clearance (using ICAPS).
• Prepare and update on weekly basis reporting on his team activities and highlight to the UPF Construction Lead all area of concern which may impact either the quality or the delivery date of the Instrumentation, ICSS and Telecom.
• Ensure that the sail-way is timely prepared with correct identification and location of material, proper preservation and sea-fastening.
• Attend weekly construction meetings.

HSE Roles & Responsibilities:
• Adhere to and effectively communicate Project HSE Policies.
• Proactively intervene where HSE deficiencies are identified and report.
• Being “visible in the field” and “walking the talk” with HSE as a priority.
• Attend Project HSE meetings, training and inspection as when invited to.
• Consult HSE team in the execution and planning of key critical activities.
• Attend Safety tours and specific Inspections at least once a week.
• Ensure that HSE procedures & Policies are properly implemented.
• Monitor safety statistics, and initiate improvement plans. Ensure that all incidents and anomalies are properly reported and analyzed.
• Participate, carry out JSA and hazard reviews, communicate HSE notices and implement and follow up on corrective actions as required.
• Promote Contractor HSE management improvement’s and safe working practices
• Motivate Contractor, Sub Contractor and Company personnel in order to achieve HSE targets

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Large experience on similar topside at equivalent position.
• English fluent.
• Offshore project construction back-ground and experience with Korean yards.
• Relevant Professional Experience in Projects (number of years) : 15
