The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Accountable to the Downstream Commissioning Manager for
• Turnover/Handover management processes for the project downstream physical Assets through the Handover to Operations
• Liaise with Upstream Systems Completion to ensure alignment with respect to the set up of Systems Handover Databases within the ICT Handover Strategy
• Develop and co-ordinate handover assurance process to ensure first time right delivery to operations providing the evidence that ‘The Asset is safe to start Up and we can demonstrate Functionally this position shall report into the Commissioning team.
• Support to the Downstream Commissioning Manager in ensuring development and execution of effective Turnover/Handover processes ensuring a smooth transfer of ownership to the final asset team
• Advise Commissioning Manager on progress and identify threats to meeting turnover/ handover milestones.
• Liaise with Upstream QA/QC and Completion to ensure clarity of scope, roles and responsibilities to align with Handover Strategy to demonstrate the integrity of the asset for Start Up.
• Liaise with Operations to map out the structure and content of Deliverables required to demonstrate the asset is safe to start up.
• Identify key stakeholders and engage to align project and operations expectations – resolve conflicts
• Support Downstream Commissioning Manager to manage the Turnover/ Handover stakeholder engagement plans, including linkage with the Delivery teams located in the relevant vendor/fabrication yards, Co-ordinate workshops to assure alignment between all stakeholders – upstream and downstream as schedule scope requires.
• Develop an assurance plan to maintain alignment between the outputs from the delivery sites (Construction, Key Suppliers (Vendors and Fabricators) and the Commissioning/Operations Handover requirements.
• Identify gaps/misalignment with the Implementation plans and initiate measures to rectify
• Understanding and implementing as far as possible the Project’s vision of Operational Excellence.
Main Interfaces: INTERNAL Stakeholders, Downstrteam Commissioning team leads/managers , ImplementationTeams , Operations Production Superintendant (for Handover), Upstream Systems Completion Manager, Upstream Handover Engineer, QA/QC (Upstream and Downstream), Completions Manager Modules

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• BS Engineering
• 10+ years oilfield related experience
• Large project teams Multiple execution locations in different time zones
• Multiple EPC contractors and subcontractors for Upstream/downstream scopes
• Different execution time frames for Upstream/Downstream scopes
• Alignment of plans across multiple teams
• Influencing various teams and management without necessarily accountability.
• Ability to challenge the respective execution leads is key.
• Stakeholder management will be effectively key to this role
