The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Our Client is currently looking for a ICT Control Systems Engineer to become accountable for ensuring that the PCS and all packaged equipment control systems on the Downstream facilities are fully tested and integrated with the facility wide control and safety systems.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Manage the interface design between the integrated control system and the various packaged equipment control systems on the project. This includes subsea control system, turbine or motor driven compressors and generators, power management and load shedding system, custody transfer metering, condition monitoring system, analyzer system
• Ensure the interface design meets all functional and operational objectives including hardwire interface, communication network including serial connections, interface protocols, hardware redundancy, reliability, system capacity and loading
• Coordinate and manage the scope of supplies and data definition between the packaged vendors and the automation supplier. This includes data types, data packing, time synchronization and alarming

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:

• Ability to work under pressure
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times
• Minimum Qualifications: Relevant Engineering/Science Degree
• Minimum of 8 years relevant, practical experience, including experience in working with and influencing MAC and EPCM contractors in executing fabrication and commissioning activities

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards is desirable. Practical working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards
• Fully competent in complex control and instrument systems including Fieldbus, Yokogawa in particular, as well as ASM control interfaces
