The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
My operator client is seeking an ICT Senior Process Control Network Engineer for a 12 month contract, commencing ASAP to be based in Perth.

Accountable for ensuring all advanced applications and connectivity to the business systems are defined, developed, and delivered according to project specifications and business requirements. Ensures PCN design (levels, firewalls, domain controllers, etc.) and applications meet project specifications, and are operable within the project Basis of Design and the ABU-FE and Operations operating plans. Ensures proper mapping of business system functionality, work processes, and information requirements to the process automation systems.

Key Job Responsibility
• Coordinate and work with various stake holders (upstream, downstream, IT, RFLNG, etc.) to document/define the functional requirements of PCN applications (alarm metric monitoring, advanced control procedural management, etc.).
• Responsible for development of PCN roadmap for delivering applications.
• Responsible for developing and validating data requirements from Gorgon PAS.
• Works closely with automation stakeholders to ensure requirements and plans are visible to automation integration team.
• Responsible for insuring PCN network infrastructure design and applications are fit for purpose and function within the project basis of design and meet ABU-FE/Operations requirements.
• Responsible for providing SME input to applications such as remote connectivity, alarm metrics applications, advanced control applications, procedural automation applications, etc.
• Responsible for development of performance metrics development for automation systems and for business systems integration.
• Coordinate and ensure all business applications to support LNG operation are provided with the required data (including data quality and data rate).
• Develop data mapping and integration requirement with enterprise resource management system and scheduling system.

• Being aware of Australian and Local Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations.
• Understanding and implementing as far as possible the Project’s vision of Operational Excellence (OE vision) and IIF
• Identification and implementation of specific HSE practices and procedures when on BWI and for office environment.
• Ensure effective SIMOPS controls in respect to the final phases of coinciding construction/commissioning ands start-up in conjunction with asset operator Compliance with IIF and all site based HES programs

Interface management
Manage multiple interfaces associated with the user, designers, and application teams for applications sitting on the PCN.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
•Relevant Degree in Engineering, IT/IS (both or combined degree preferred).

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of 15 years relevant, practical experience, including experience in working with/influencing multiple diverse groups, working in an EPCM environment, and working with diverse stakeholders.
• A strong knowledge Process Control Network design (PCN), specifically within a CVX environment. Strong understanding of integration of process control domains with IT domains and the applications. Understanding of LNG / Hydrocarbon Processing industry (upstream or downstream). Experience of working with real-time control systems and critical infrastructure. Experience in design/development, commissioning, and start-up environments on large MCPs
• Strong understanding of PCN and CVX design/operations of PCN
• An awareness of Technical Safety and it’s application relevant to role
