The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Drives governance around incident management process • routinely reviews the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes against prescribed Standards and develops strategies for enhancing these processes in accordance with best practices for assurance/ compliance • ensures that major incidents are reported, thoroughly investigated and closed on time • verifies that correct root causes are identified and actions implemented to prevent recurrence • works with line management to improve quality and timeliness of incident investigation and action closure • maintains knowledge of direction and strategy of Chevron OE as well as applicable HES and Workers’ Compensation statute and incorporates this knowledge into the broader HES and risk function • contributes to evolving and maturing the incident management process so it integrates with other processes (problem and change management) and tools • Routinely reviews critical success factors and key performance indicators that are specific to the execution of the incident management process Acts as the point of contact and escalation for support groups and internal businesses during major incidents and provides accurate and timely communications on impact to appropriate senior management • identifies an incident owner to lead the incident investigation process during major incidents • ensures appropriate escalation procedures are followed as required • assesses impact and progress during major incidents to ensure escalation is timely and appropriate ensures that incident details are entered in the incident management tool in a timely manner and that the information is accurate Responsible for the oversight and direction of the Incident Coordination unit ensuring timely response to major incidents, the proper investigation of those incidents, and timely resolution of the incident leveraging resources from throughout the organization • Lead and mentor incident coordination unit staff to achieve alignment with corporate objectives to ensure their success • Organize and implement High Performing Team strategy Orchestrates the weekly internally facing and externally facing Incident Review meetings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Position requires considerable coordination skills due to size of the Project and volume and complexity of incidents, along with ability to deal with Senior Leadership team and Contractors’ senior management along with a number of competing stakeholders within the business.
