Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
A new opportunity has arisen for an IM Coordinator on a 12 month contract based in Perth.

The core responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• Build and establish competence within the Downstream Information Management (IM) Team and introduce a successful working relationship with internal and external customers
• Comply and promote compliance with Company and Project specific procedures/processes to ensure success.
• Actively contribute to the IM Strategy Document Control processes and procedures
• Act as an SME for the implementation of core IM business processes
• Build a team ethic within the Downstream IM team and promote excellence within that team

Build and maintain open lines of communication and avenues for knowledge sharing between all IM teams IM Coordination Directly responsible for overseeing and assuring the EPCM performance in delivering the following IM elements;
• Monitor, oversee, expedite & report on progress of EPCM Implementation Contractor deliverables
• Coordinate and report on, in consultation with EPCM and corporate, progress of handover, transition and archive of deliverables in alignment with the schedule
• Provide subject matter expertise to Downstream IM project team
• Work with EPCM and the business unit to develop and implement key IM and Document Management processes, supporting business controls and tools including review verification and handover plan(s) (agree verification and handover related actions and co-ordinate close out of Downstream actions), PO/Contract close out, Concession Requests, Technical Deviations, SIMOPs
• Interface with commissioning, particularly on Barrow Island

Support development and Implementation of a robust mechanism that ensures information associated with/ impacted by the management of change (MOC) process is managed in a manner that is visible and supports continued completeness and integrity of the Engineering Information set, inc:
• Completeness & quality checking
• Verification process
• Status reporting
• Escalation & resolution
• Coordination, capture and tracking
• Review and approval process (inc. demonstration of Technical authority endorsement)
• Red line mark-up, project document (planned change) and work pack management

As-building process IM Services Responsible for the development and implementation of the following IM and Document Management elements;
• Liaison with EPCM IM team
• Regular monitoring and reporting to Downstream IM Team Lead, typically IM functional support statistics, progress reporting and issue escalation
• Ongoing communication and promotion of Operations IM processes, standards and best practice
• Monitor performance of EPCM and Contractors
• Proactively encourage improved and consistent Information Management and promote the broader use of online collaborative working methods
• Participant and/or contributor to the company and Contractor audits
• Monitor Project IM workload in consultation with the Downstream IM Team Lead and make adjustments as necessary to ensure Project timelines are met
• Act as SME during Project Alignment sessions, workshops and lessons learned activities
• Focal point for the project team and company Operations and Maintenance queries on construction, commissioning and as-built documentation, document systems and review of project deliverables in Contractor systems
• Development and implementation of company strategies, processes, specifications and business controls for Downstream IM
• Coordinate with the project asset teams re the handover of the administration documents supporting the Contracts/sub contractors and Vendors that require Legal retention.
• Management of the PO/Contract Close Out process and its implementation along with ongoing monitoring and improvement of the process as required
• Develop a close working relationship with Contracts and Procurement departments to achieve the above
• Contributing the continual development and maturity of IM discipline in Project Downstream IM and company wide
• Reporting – Design, Develop and Deliver completion / quality reports
• Development and implementation of IM handover specifications and procedures in alignment with corporate requirements People and Teams
• Build excellent relationships with project Stakeholders and Information Owners
• Attend and contribute to department and team meetings as required
• Contribute, attend and initiate as required IM Project meetings
• Contribute and attend IM network meetings
• Leading and mentoring team members and extended working groups where required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary Degree in an Information Management / Engineering disciplines or related discipline is desirable
• Proven experience in the following areas: document management, data management, commissioning, hand-over, as building
• Minimum 5-10 years industry experience required (primarily within an MCP and Production environment)
• Proven track record of developing and implementing IM controls, processes and tools to Operations and Project teams
• Experience of working with EPC’s
• Ability to manage small teams of internal and external consultants and service providers as required
• Experience in the development and implementing Information Management business controls
• Proven ability to deliver operational solutions in accordance with strategic plans
