The Company:
A major international Oil and Gas operator.

The Role:
Fircroft are looking for an IM Manager/Document Controller for a long term contract within Germany & the UK

Location: Munich, Germany
Travel: May be some travel and time spent within the UK
Rates: Day Rate - negotiable
Duration: Contract is due to run for 3 years – Initially 1 year contract to be extended.
Job Role:
Identify the business and project requirements necessary during the lifecycle of the assets being delivered.
Build a detailed work plan and budget and review with the Project Management Team.
Develop and implement supporting information processes and systems for capital project execution.
Implement Information Management solutions for engineering activities based on current guidelines including the IM framework, the Project Technical Information Framework, and CPMS specifications.
Determine requirements in collaboration with other project personnel in order to specify the delivery schedule and format of the required information, and include such requirements in all project contracts, POs, etc., for services and materials.
Develop a scope of work for the project and ensure that IS/IT deliverables are incorporated into the overall project schedule.
Plan for phased handoff of information from EPC's and to Operations in a format that supports the population of critical operating systems (e.g. SAP PM), at appropriate FEL gates, and before the equipment is required to operate.
Serve as Information Management interface to project contractors and equipment suppliers, and optimize the information exchange between all internal and external project team participants.
Manage data handover from EPC contractor and related quality control activities.
Develop a strong understanding of the facility operations deliverables from the project as they relate to IS/IT systems and infrastructure.
Interface with Project Development to ensure that group standards are applied where relevant and that learnings are exchanged both ways.
Provide IS input for cost estimates, project financial reports, progress reports, and cost forecasts as needed.
Serve as interface with the Operations and Asset teams that are the end customers and optimize the final information handover to them.

Software used: Sharepoint, Documentum
Languages: Fluent English and Understanding of German is desirable.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience and leadership in support of CPMS processes and procedures.
Expert level experience in all project phases (FEL, Engineering, Construction, Hand-over, Operation, Cessation).
Demonstrated experience driving knowledge sharing within a project and across the IM NoE community.
Demonstrated leadership providing input into systems strategy and roadmaps, promoting strategic solutions.
Recognized as an expert in building and interpreting DDFO.
Recognized expert in document and records management policy and processes, promoting company strategic direction for document management systems.
Recognized as an audit leader, influencing audit expectations and processes for the IM Community.
Recognized expert working with Engineering Data Management (EDM) systems. Providing input for improving data warehouse principles and demonstrated experience with design review processes utilizing 3D models.
Experience working with Interface Management Systems in several projects.
