The Company:
Our Client is a global Energy Leader with a strong commitment to Honest and Ethical Business Practices within the Oil and Gas Industry. Our Client operates as an independent energy company. It has four segments: Oil and Gas, Syncrude, Energy Marketing, and Chemicals. The Oil and Gas segment explores, develops, and produces crude oil, natural gas, and related products.

The Role:
Provide technical expertise, analysis and development experience to the UK Information Management team so that technical aspects of IM projects can be progressed quickly and effectively. Livelink (Content Server) Workflow development is a key aspect of this role. Although this role is predominantly project focused, there may be some operational support tasks assigned on an as-required basis
Main Activities
• Provide technical/development skills required for the successful delivery of Livelink (Content Server) workflows, using the eForms development tool.
• Provide technical/development skills required for the successful delivery of other UK IM Projects and work requests
• Provide assistance to support Workflow and Web Report Solutions.
• Some travel between Aberdeen and Uxbridge may be required for this role.

General Activities
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to Workflow Solutions according to org Standards
• Maintain and improve document framework related to Workflow Solutions according to org Standards and Industry Best Practise
• Provide assistance with evaluating new Content Server software where required.
• Operational support tasks, assigned on an ad hoc basis. These tasks will be tracked using Remedy Action Request System.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Significant experience in Livelink Workflow development and implementation.
• Experience of eForms would be an advantage.
• Considerable experience of web based software development: C, C++, oscript, javascript, SQL, HTML, XML, knowledge of web services desirable
• Understanding of Windows 2008 Server, Active Directory, IIS, Apache Tomcat
• Excellent technical analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Demonstrate adherence to industry best practice
• Oil and Gas experience desirable but not essential
