The Company:
Our client is a leading freight forwarder in Asia Pacific, established in 1970. It offers and provides their customers a wider coverage and range of services.
It is customer-driven and innovative in all aspects as well as providing training and development for their employees.

The Role:
Responsibilities:

• To provide full administrative support in handling, monitoring of daily operations work
• Setting up of work processes ( SOPs) collating & analyzing statistics, attending to emails, etc)
• To liaise / interact with Headquarters (HQ) and overseas agents on any shipment leads
• Attend and monitor regular shipments enquiries
• Coordinate, Prepare and Plan for shipment bookings from initial enquiry to completion
• Understand Customs related processes inbound/outbound of Brazil
• To resolve customer service related matters / shipment irregularities by providing interim replies and corrective action plans to customers
• Acts as the primary interface between the company and customers and to expedite customer request
• Submit monthly report / write shipment discrepancy report

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The right candidate should have experience dealing with customs, customer service skills, freight forwarder background, experience with Airfreight and Sea freight, tracking cargos out of the port, having worked dealing with cargo for oil & gas companies, experience working with House BL/Master BL, know how about what needs to be done to import cargo to Brazil, understanding of freight rate, etc.

• Minimum Degree holder
• Pleasant personality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in both English and Portuguese
• Computer literate (Knowledge in MS Office) – Preferably in MS Excel, PowerPoint
• At least 2-3 years of working experience within operations preferably in the Freight Forwarding / Oil & Gas Industry

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Applicants residing within Rio de Janeiro is preferred.
