The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
Export/Import Clerk/Administration Assistant required to work within a busy Engineering organisation based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.

Duties:

- Processing Export Shipping and Payment invoices through in-house system.
- Producing Customs Documentation and liaising with Local Chamber of Commerce and HM Customs.
- Arranging consignments through Courier companies & Freight Forwarders for UK and Export.
- Email communication with UK & Worldwide Client sites.
- Intrastat – Administration of European data to Customs
- Arranging the shipping of Imports & Returns including documentation.
- Inputting Data of all Customs Entries.
- Filing, photocopying, faxing, scanning and general office housekeeping.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Computer Literacy MS Office, Lotus Notes
- Excellent Communication Skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- This position would suit an experienced Import/Export Clerk, but applications are also welcomed from experienced Administrators as full training can be provided.
