The Company:
My client is a leader in their field, Manufacturing and developing a range of Hardware, software and proven communication technologies all linked into Energy management solutions, with government targeted growth plans in place, they will continue to grow over the next few years.

The Role:
As IMS Compliance Quality Engineer is to ensure that the management and maintenance of the company systems for quality, environment and health and safety comply with the Regulatory and Certification standards held by the company and to improve the systems of work to ensure continuing compliance with maximum efficiency

As an IMS Compliance Quality Engineer your main duties will involve:
• Develop, maintain and improve business processes, policies and procedures
• Participate in regular reviews, assessments and audits of company management systems, including those by external certification bodies
• Coordinate improvement action programmes resulting from the review processes
• Participate in and support internal Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental teams
• Provide guidance and support in the interpretation of certificated processes and their standards and regulatory issues
• Ensure that that the company operates in compliance with the relevant legislation and corporate policies and systems.
• Participate in business excellence projects

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
As an IMS Compliance Quality Engineer you will have experience:
• Experienced Quality Engineer
• Strong facilitation skills
• Experienced in the maintenance of Quality Management Systems
• Previous involvement in HSE activities, especially risk assessments
• Procedure writing and document control
• Flowcharting techniques
• ISO9001: 2000
• ISO14001 & BS18001
• Electronics / Electrical background or Previous experience in a component assembly environment would be an advantage but not essential
