Fircroft require an Incident & Injury Free Coordinator for a major Oil & Gas Operator within Kazakhstan

Location: Atyrau
Rotation: 6/2

IIF Coordinator Job Description:
IIF Coordinators will be responsible for implementing the IIF Protocol in their areas of operation, supporting the objectives of the Delivery Team(s) and providing direction to JMJ in executing the delivery of the identified elements of the IIF Protocol as applicable for the stage/location of the work.
The IIF Coordinator will provide direction to the IIF Field Advisers and work with all levels of Project and Contractor organisations to foster IIF practices and build capability.
IIF Implementation

Mentor current and future group of IIF Field Advisers:
Coach each Advisor to improve their presentation and delivery skills.
Ensure “quality and clarity of IIF message” is being maintained. Carry out audits, reviews and feedback surveys to validate this.
Extend coaching principles, where practicable, to include Project as well as Contractor, supervision and workforce.
Ensure the IIF Protocol elements are implemented with project and contractor participants in the following activities:
2 Day Commitment workshops
Train the Trainer workshops
IIF Orientations
Skills Development workshop aligned with PRC IIF Protocol (IIF in Action)

Build IIF organizational capacity and awareness

Actively seek out opportunities to promote IIF throughout the project in collaboration with respective IIF Coordinators of the Major Capital Projects (MCP)
Apply learning’s and IIF best practice across the business in collaboration with respective IIF Coordinators of the MCP

Create and deliver initiatives to stimulate an IIF culture across the business in collaboration with respective IIF Coordinators of the MCP

IIF Coaching

Conduct one on one coaching of site and office based managers/supervisors on how to engage in IIF conversations in support of Managing Safe Workplace practices. This includes sites across all areas, Project supervision and contractor personnel
Conduct Diagnostic Surveys with workforce to establish cultural perceptions and deliver a Coaching Plan that is specific to the work group.
Facilitate work group coaching sessions where required. This will involve focusing on particular IIF issues within a workgroup, with a view to reinforcing a positive culture or addressing issues surrounding a negative culture.
Present training to Supervisors and work crews which are ‘fit for purpose’ in order to address concerns raised during the Diagnostic Survey.

Active IIF Engagement

Create partnership with IIF Coordinators within each MCP and provide program support within IIF Implementation where required.
Actively engage with contractor workforce to assist in creating a positive IIF workplace culture. Be a leader for IIF principals.
Be actively involved with the IIF Champions Network as a facilitator, SME, reference point and coordinator of planned activities (when required).
Provide assistance where required in promoting and coaching individuals in effectively utilising BBS systems.

IIF Supervision & Leadership

Establish collaborative relationships with key stakeholders on site to ensure a coordinated approach of IIF support between IIF Advisors, JMJ and Contractors.
Provide leadership and guidance in the field to IIF Advisors to ensure activities are relevant and meaningful toward providing IIF support
Mentoring and coaching IIF Advisors in the field to continually improve their professional development in IIF support
Manage the day to day operational administrative requirements of in-field IIF support activities including diaries, coaching plans and the provision of technical advice
Manage the day to day personal administration of in-field IIF advisors including accommodation, rosters, transport and HR
Support the ongoing development of IIF Advisor team development by providing regular team feedback, leading by example and conducting in-field team meetings
Maintain quality standards on IIF Advisor sessions by review to ensure quality content and presentation

As part of our OE Culture, we want to build our visible safety and environmental leadership and drive incident and injury free performance The deployment of IIF Coordinators to manage the work of the IIF Field Advisors and their relationship with the contract workforce will be a critical factor in promoting IIF throughout the project sphere of influence.

To be successful in these roles a high level of team building and communication skills along with a knowledge of field operations combined with the ability to engage the workforce across multiple organizations and functions is required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or HND as a minimum
Candidates must be 60 years or below to qualify for visa application
