The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Provide the client with the command leadership and quickly respond to emergency calls with precision. Responsible for the overall assessment, planning, strategy, and coordination of resources at the incident scene.
1. Utilize knowledge and experience to continuously improve operating discipline and performance.
2. Participate in drills and trainings of team members on proper usage of emergency equipment and response procedures.
3. Determine overall strategy to mitigate incidents and coordinate/manage incident resources and activities.
4. Meet regulatory requirements in safety, environmental and emergency response areas.
5. Responsible for on-scene mitigation of fires, spills, chemical releases, medical emergencies, rescues, and work place violence incidents.
6. Decide on the use of proper Site Emergency Action Plans and professionally handle conflicts/altercations or warmongering involving personnel as needed.
7. Initiate environmental mitigation response as necessary and potential environmental impact issues.
8. Study carefully the objectives in coordination with the EOC, if necessary.
9. Conduct initial briefing with Emergency Dispatch Center, line officers and SEM.
10.Develop capability for all emergency response areas such as fire fighting, HAZMAT Response, emergency medical response, high angle/confined space rescue, distribution, emergency response, dispatcher, etc. and act as quick response team.
11. Maintain physical fitness to respond quickly to any emergency calls.
12. Establish communication with Dispatch Center/EOC and SEM, liaise with Unit Immediate Response Leader and non-emergency organizations involved in the incident.
13. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• High School diploma, training/certification or equivalent is required.
• EMT certification.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Trained to meet all of the competencies of the shift positions in an Emergency Response organization.
