The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.

In Australia they are involved in one of the largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
You will provide Recruitment best practice and advice to line managers in relation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce engagement and resourcing strategy. You will be required to manage day to day resourcing activities and employee services; this includes recruitment, on boarding, mobilisation of personnel, performance management and personnel administration.

•Preparation of HR and personnel reports and support documents as required (both electronic and hardcopy).
•Prepare policies and procedures as required.
•Document all recruitment activity using the data base, including creating and managing folders & sourcing channels for specific skills and experienced candidates, ensuring candidates are managed and tracked throughout the recruitment process.
•Documenting and managing data for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment, ensuring data can be utilized for recruitment drives and campaigns.
•Engaging with Hiring Managers, preparing and advising on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander recruitment strategies and managing the life cycle of recruitment for their team members.
•Implement agreed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resourcing plan and strategies in accordance with policy and procedures.
•Work closely with Senior Aboriginal Affairs Adviser and the Operations Recruitment Supervisor to help source suitable candidates, conduct interviews, reference checks and qualification validations.
•Assist line managers in their workforce planning process for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander recruitment.
•Assist the Operations Recruitment Supervisor to develop an annual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resourcing plan.
•Building long-standing relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, agencies and consultancies to assist with resourcing.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Must be able to demonstrate and in-depth understanding of the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
•Previous experience working in an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resourcing environment, either in-house or consultancy.
•Ideally you will have experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Resourcing.
•A high level of interpersonal and communication skills, be able to demonstrate successful working relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and partner industries.
•Attention to detail/accurate record keeping and reports management.
•Previous experience in establishing Workforce Engagement processes and procedures for Aboriginal Resourcing & employment.
•Experience in administering employment contracts and conducting inductions

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Tertiary qualification in HR management or related field
