The Company:
A Global Oil & Gas operator with extensive operations in the Caspian Region.

The Role:
IR advisor will provide advice and guidance to Project Management and Country Management to assure effective Management of the Contractors’ Industrial Relations Performance. IR advisor will develop and implement Project IR Plan within the project and group-wide frameworks, policies and legal boundaries.

The Role:

• Develop and maintain policies and procedures in conjunction with Site Management for managing and controlling IR on the Project.
• Review the existing Project contractual documentation, exhibits and Project specific IR requirements to ensure that all statutory and contractual terms and conditions are provided.
• Review Contractors prequalification IR questionnaires and plans to ensure their compliance with the Project IR Plan. `
• Advise Site Management and Contractors on Kazakhstan labour legislation requirements and ensure it is made known to them and is effectively carried out.
• Liaise closely with PFD and Contractors HR Management to ensure terms and conditions of employment are in compliance with Kazakhstan Labour Law and other government obligations.
• Control labour relations among Contractors. Liaise with Contractors by means of regular meetings to be aware of their problems or arising conflicts and immediately notify the Site Management of employee relations problems such as discrimination charges, employee complaints, picketing, others.
• Provide Site Management with necessary and specific guidelines to follow in the event of labour disturbances on or around the Project Site.
• Counsel Site Management on potential labour conflicts, emerging issues and trend and proactively recommend solutions.
• Closely liaise with all the relevant local Industry and Government bodies, to engender a good working relationship between the local business community, and the Project as a whole.
• Studying current labour laws, including tracking of changes when made for purposes of better orientation and understanding.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Familiar with Kazakhstan Labour Law and other laws.
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources.
