The Company:
A Multinational Oil & Gas Company (Operator) that established in Indonesia is seeking a potential candidate for Information & Data Lead position

The Role:
• Promote the efficient and effective management and usage of information and knowledge relevant to the Wells/Drilling Organisation.
• Advise and support Global Wells Organization (GWO) leadership on Information and Knowledge Management strategy and implementation plans.
• Monitor and set out plans for continuous improvement of usage to ensure global uptake of standards.
• Ensure content remains relevant and up to date.
• Set effective document archiving standards and processes to protect long term information integrity.
• Define / Design / apply systems that store and manage well engineering documentation, including practices, Procedures, Records and Guides.
• Work with other Upstream Functions (e.g. S&OR) on the development, deployment and maintenance of systems that store and manage GWO documentation.
• Maintain linkage and consistency between both Wells documentation and that owned by others function.
• Establish and sustain a Community of Practice of Information Management specialists across GWO Function and line organizations, and S&OR.
• Promote awareness of systems and processes to manage information within GWO and across function.
• Assist GWO regions in understanding where critical documentation is held in conditions that introduce risk
• Monitor usage of document management systems within GWO regions, and intervene where awareness and uptake is seen as suboptimal
• Promote consistent document management standards and hierarchy (such as the Company's Requirements Architecture) across GWO
• Assure periodic review and update of GWO Practices and Procedures, working with appropriate discipline experts and SETAs
• Working with the Organizational Learning Lead, facilitate the incorporation of lessons learnt into GWO documentation
• Maintain an awareness of industry changes to relevant external Standards and communicate these to the GWO community. (e.g. IADC, SPE, Governmental Organisations)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, Technology or Business.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in high level information and data management.
• Strong understanding of drilling engineering and operations activities in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Expertise in information and knowledge management systems including setting up and managing documentation storage systems.
• Good analytical skills; can clarify key issues in complex and ambiguous situations.
• Overcomes obstacles and barriers to ensure timely delivery of project work. Adapts approach to achieve outstanding results.
• Commitment to the delivery of safe and reliable operations.
• Promotes open and effective communication & teamwork.
• Fosters multi-discipline and inter-team collaboration and success .
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, across the whole organisation irrespective of seniority, organizational or contractual boundaries.
