The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
A new position has arisen for an Information Management Analyst on a 12 month contract based in Perth on the Thevenard Island Oil Field Asset Retirement Project (TVIR). The position is responsible for provision of efficient, cost effective and coordinated IM resources, services and solutions to the team.

You will be responsible for:
• Encompassing all TVIR information, existing, generated or acquired and ensures appropriate records retention practices are applied at transition to the company's IM division.
• Develop and manage TVIR direction on IM processes, tools and personnel to support the TVIR Phase 3 & Phase 4 Project Execution Plan objectives.
• Assure the ongoing protection, availability and integrity of the information assets and resources to enable TVIR to conduct their business globally and effectively.
• Ensure business and project requirements for IM during the lifecycle of TVIR and transition through to company's IM division,are understood and addressed in a timely manner
• Development and maintenance of IM deliverables plan
• Adoption or modification of IM Processes and Procedures to manage foundational IM requirements e.g. DMS and collaboration tools, Business Controls,
• IM Contractual language and participation in Contractor selection process from an IM perspective
• Contribute to common and aligned vision throughout the division for Information Management
• Develop, implement and maintain an adequate suite of core IM processes, controls and practices including numbering and formatting standards
• Data & Document Management and Control
• Ensure full compliance requirements are met for retiring asset
• Develop and implement a Governance framework and Compliance program that ensures they managing their information appropriately
• Ensures compliance with internal company policy inc. Information Protection, external legislation, good business practices in the area of IM.
• Provide a mechanism by which the quality/consistency of IM is verified on a regular basis to ensure TVIR requirements are being met, resourcing is appropriate, recommendations for improvement are identified and acted upon.
• Serve as the TVIR contact for IS requirements and implementations to enable Project activities across all Project sites.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in an Information Science or Engineering related discipline preferred
• Minimum 5-10 years IM experience (primarily within the Exploration and Production environment including Major Capital Projects, Operations)
• Proven ability to develop both strategic plans and deliver solutions, inc. development and implementation of IM business controls, processes and tools to Operations and Major Capital Project teams
• Experience of working with External Service Providers, Vendors and Contractors
• Wide experience of DMS, Records Management, Document Control and Collaboration solutions
• Experience with, CAD/drafting, viewing and mark-up software and standards

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Understanding of the Operations Engineering Change/Plant process
• Ability to read/interpret technical engineering information an advantage
• Exposure to GIS packages and the ESRI suite desirable
• Good Project Management, IT, communication and negotiation skills
• Methodical and practical approach to issue prevention and problem solving Strong customer focus
• Ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrated experience in the provision of change management, training, coaching and support services
• Capacity to learn new skills and integrate new knowledge into existing work activities
• Self motivated with ability to work using initiative and with minimum supervision
