The Company:
Our Client has operations in the world’s most important oil and gas regions and are leaders in working in extremely difficult environments. They have interests in many offshore producing fields in the UK, including five operated fields and five partner-operated fields. The company also has interests in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, the Netherlands and Norway. The client is the largest private producer of oil in Kazakhstan and the top O&G producer in Thailand.

The Role:
• Participating in the deployment of processes and systems for management of project documents both electronic and physical during project execution and turnover to operations. • Conducting project team training on IM systems. • Providing level 1 user support on the IM systems. • Participating in the coordination and maintenance of the distribution matrices for COMPANY representatives. • Participating in audits on the document control centers of participating contractors. • Participating in the administration of document management systems or folder structures. • Identifying non-conformances and implementing corrective actions. • Reviewing CONTRACTOR document control procedures. • Administering the movement of documents, drawings, and correspondence utilizing the IM systems. • Implementing the document control procedures at project site locations under the guidance of the IM Coordinator. • Participating in executing the steps defined in COMPANY specifications • Being responsible for the allocation of document sequence numbers for documents originated by the project team. • Being responsible for the quality control and maintenance of the register / database of all documents and correspondence, including their associated metadata received or issued by the project team. • Performing queries and analysis of structured data usually where data warehouses or DMS management systems exist. • Providing guidance to originators with formatting of documentation • Allocating numbers to outgoing correspondence Follow CUE and Admin processes as appropriate (e.g. Vacation tracking, Working Schedules, Timesheets, TDOs) Adhoc projects and duties as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in an Information Management related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 5 years prior experience in the management of Major Capital Project data and documents, including a comprehensive understanding of the information that is is produced. • Comprehensive knowledge of Document Management systems and their usage on MCPs. • Experience with CONTRACTOR systems and the methods such systems use in the generation and storage of information. • A thorough understanding of good document control practices and CONTRACTOR processes and procedures related to document control. • An understanding of document management reporting.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience of IM systems such as eRoom, SharePoint is desirable.
