The Company:
Our client, a major oil and gas operator, is seeking an Engineering IM Analyst for one of their major projects.

The Role:
ngineering Information Management Analysis & Project Delivery Provision of consistent, efficient, cost effective and coordinated Engineering Information Management Services and Solutions for the following elements:
• Support Downstream EIM Coordinator in provision of EIM subject matter expertise to Project Phase 4 Contracts.
• Support Downstream EIM Coordinator in provision of EIM subject matter expertise to Project Downstream Business Services Team and relevant Downstream Engineering Disciplines locally and onsite locations.
• Support Downstream EIM Coordinator with management of Handover deliverables from phase 4 Contractors
• Support Downstream EIM Coordinator with management of Handover deliverables to Phase 5 Operations
• Liaise with Project Facilities Engineering Data Coordinator for efficient Contractor Engineering Data Capture and QA
• Ensure close engagement with Project Downstream Document Control team
• Ensure alignment with overall Project EIM Strategy
• Support Downstream EIM Coordinator with ongoing communication and promotion of EIM processes, standards and best practice within the Downstream team
• Support Downstream EIM Coordinator Liaising closely with Lead EIM, Upstream EIM Coordinator and Social Infrastructure Coordinator to ensure EIM Alignment across the whole project
• Keep abreast of relevant EIM activities within ABU and Gorgon project to ensure optimum use of lessons learnt and Alignment with ABU/Operations requirements Opportunity Assessment and Stakeholder Management
• Under the guidance of the Downstream EIM Coordinator:
o Capture the high level business requirements in context to specific business strategies, goals and objectives allowing an initial set of solution alternatives to be identified
o Evaluate the business fit of different solution alternatives
o Identify and map high level end-to-end business scenarios allowing:
? proposed solutions to be understood in a business context
? the Downstream EIM Coordinator to develop an “integrated” set of solutions for the program with limited gaps and overlaps across functional areas

• As instructed, assist in the development and documentation of the business case for new EIM systems regarding:
o Identification of benefits
o Identification of process and people change required to support the realization of benefits
o Timeline for the realization of benefits aligns with the expected duration for associated business process and organizational changes to occur People and Teamwork
• Develop effective working relationships with project team members, relevant contractor representatives and business stakeholders
• Resolve issues on professional terms and escalate as required to ensure successful project delivery
• Foster a proactive “can do” and “win win” attitude across project team members and business stakeholders
• Demonstrate a willingness to take on new challenges and the ability to deal with constant change
• Ability to work well alone and within a small team environment when required
• Collaborate with the Downstream EIM Coordinator, EIM Lead, Upstream EIM Coordinator and Social Infrastructure Coordinator in developing and enhancing consistent EIM processes, standards and best practices

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in an Information Management related discipline preferred
• Minimum 5-6 years IM experience (primarily within the Exploration and Production environment including Major Capital Projects, Operations)
Proven ability to develop both strategic plans and deliver solutions, inc. development and implementation of IM business controls, processes and tools to Operations and Major Capital Project teams
• Experience of working with External Service Providers, Vendors and Contractors
• Wide experience of DMS, Records Management, Document Control and Collaboration solutions

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience with, 3D modelling and engineering data warehouse tools/technologies, CAD/drafting, viewing and mark-up software and standards
• Understanding of the Operations Engineering Change/Plant process
• Ability to read/interpret technical engineering information an advantage
• Good Project Management, IT, communication and negotiation skills
• Methodical and practical approach to issue prevention and problem solving
• Strong customer focus
• Ability to work under the pressure
• Demonstrated experience in the provision of change management, training, coaching and support services
• Capacity to learn new skills and integrate new knowledge into existing work activities
• Self motivated with ability to work using initiative and with minimum supervision. Strong focus on the Company Way and an ability to build and foster strong intra-team relationships
