The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, seeks expertise for offshore mega-projects in Canada.

This opportunity is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only. First consideration will be given to residents of Newfoundland & Labrador.

The Role:
 Perform Document Control activities for the Project, including documentation receipt, registration, distribution and transmittal back to Contractor.
 Ensure timely and efficient turnaround of comment response sheets to Contractors.
 Ensure proper and efficient handling of Project documentation and records including data entry and filing of hard copy and electronic files.
 Process incoming mail, including sorting, stamping, coding and copying/scanning.
 Code, index, file, archive and retrieve corporate records using procedures and tools provided.
 Perform prescribed quality checks on incoming and existing collections.
 Generate reports on and fill requests for corporate records from customers in various locations.
 Assist with records cleanup efforts or special recovery projects for various customers at different locations.
 Support audit, discovery and litigation analysis.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Diploma in Technical Records and Information Management (RIM), Technical Document Control, or equivalent combination of education or training and experience.
 High-level computer user and keyboarding skills with experience in database management, scanning and the use of the Microsoft Suite of products.
 Strong understanding of Information Management principles and applications.
 Experienced in data entry and information handling. Especially Confidential information and documents.
 Strong organizational skills and work habits, showing adaptability and initiative.
 Ability to work with minimal supervision.
 Customer oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
 Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment.
 5+ years of industry working experience in areas of technical document management and administrative support, including working experience with EDMS
