The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, requires expertise for their ongoing oil sands mega-projects in Alberta.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
The Information Management Coordinator (IMC) is responsible for understanding all document control and information management activities as they pertain to policy, legal and commercial implications and providing clarification and alignment to project Document Management Coordinator and internal project teams.

• is the organizational liaison between IM and the project management team.
• assist the senior information advisor to make sure the overall information management program is met
• provide support to the DMC with understanding the overall IM organizational requirements
• review DMC workflows and rollout plans providing guidance and mentorship
• assist Senior Information Advisor with annual OIMS compliance
• ensure MPI & OIMS and CIMMS guidelines are known by projects
• work with senior IMC to create, update and maintain CORPORATE MANAGEMENT specifications, process and workflows and corporate templates and rollout to DMC
• work with CORPORATE MANAGEMENT IT coordinator and senior IMC to create an overall CORPORATE MANAGEMENT EDMS; provide initial training and documentation
• identify and develop KPI & metrics for CORPORATE MANAGEMENT project
• identify and develop project closeout and records management requirements
• interface with functional representatives, as required
• identify and develop quarterly team building activities and Training for CORPORATE MANAGEMENT information management group

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
8+ years of closely related professional experience on major- MEGA projects broad and extensive knowledge of project information management activities
• understanding of normal information management activities, their interfaces and interrelationships
• Superb oral and written English Language Skills complete with the ability to present new processes and procedures requirements to others.
• strong organizational, management and communication skills
• ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, EDMS’s, Lotus Notes, etc.
• Open to business travel with Updated passport
