The Company:
Our client is an international oil and gas company currently involved in more than 70 projects across 29 countries. It ranks in the Top 50 of global petroleum companies and is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Our client has been part of the Australian business community since 1986 and is involved in a number of projects in Australia and the Timor Sea including the Ichthys LNG Project, Darwin LNG, Prelude FLNG and the Bayu Undan, Van Gogh, Ravensworth, Coniston and Kitan projects.

The Role:
Our client is looking for an Information Management Coordinator – Offshore to ensure that the agreed engineering information, data and document specifications and standards are applied in the Project’s scope to deliver the required information.

• Oversee and report on the progressive delivery of EPC and Supplier information to the DMC, IMC and Operations to support the maintenance build activities, start up and operation of the facility.
• Attend contract meetings as required to advise on the company interpretation of the contents of Invitation of Tender, information specifications or the contract.
• Work with EPCs to achieve EPC alignment with Company information specifications.
• Coordinate the Offshore Project work of the data management Contractor and other parties involved with the information take-on.
• Assist the Contractor in the implementation and use of engineering applications to best suit the project deliverables.
• Track and measure Contractor progress by agreed ‘information’ Stage Gates and ensure visibility of progress to management.
• Provide reports of progress and quality for handover to Operations of Project IM deliverables, publishing and eventual archiving of management schedule and cost reports.
• Review contractor IM Procedures and Plans to ensure compliance with Company Requirements.
• Ensure Information Management deliverables are aligned between CPF and FPSO and relevant Subsea Equipment.
• Coordinate/Resolve Information Management related Technical Query’s from EPC Contractor.
• Facilitate the resolution of Tagging issues raised by the Contractor with the package and technical authorities in Perth.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Tertiary education in a relevant field (engineering, information management etc.) or relevant experience.
- With a proven ability to coordinate and manage a large and complex information deliverable as a controlled project, in addition to an understanding of ISO 15926
