The Role:
Job Responsibilities;
Manage unstructured information through its lifecycle and Company assets which are managed from a company point of view using Company's tools e.g. SharePoint, Documentum. Implement and utilize a cohesive and well organized set of policies, standards, controls and compliance programs to improve collaboration, information management, and productivity. Maintain and retire the sites which will be equally important as the proliferation of information increases. Provide training and support to the end users.

Management:
- Serves as a company subject matter expert on information management practices and the systems used to manage the Business unit’s information
- Supports the Information Management Champion/Sponsor in carrying out information management responsibilities
- Exhibits knowledge of the processes, practices and tools of information management disciplines
- Coordinates and monitors information management activities for Business unit
- Facilitates and encourages compliance with information management and information risk management policies and standards
- Coordinates information management awareness training programs and provides information management on-boarding for required employees
- Develops relationships, partnerships and alliances as needed to facilitate the enterprise implementation of information management guidelines and best practices - Partners with ITC, ETC, KDACS, MCPIM and IM Community of Best Practices and other OPCOs as required
- Deploys and communicates enterprise information management standards, processes and procedures
- Develops, deploys and communicates any additional IM standards, processes and procedures in compliance with the enterprise requirements
- Ensures the required standard tool is deployed to meet local business unit requirements; identifies gaps and works with appropriate governing bodies to extend/simplify the tool if required
- Identifies/adds any required information types and metadata if required to support the local business needs related to the use of information repositories
- Acquires and maintains knowledge of IM tools’ broader capabilities; understands how functionality can be configured to support additional business requirements
- Ensures hardcopy information is also managed according to enterprise and business unit practices, policies and procedures
- Ensures Company Retention Schedule reflects the local business environment in relation to laws and statues and operational business requirements
- Ensures that the retention of all non-records is consistently managed by business rules

Company Business Knowledge:
- Possesses an understanding of upstream oil & gas Geological, Geophysical, Engineering and Business work processes and related data. Analyzes business workflows and develops process improvements through automation, information flow redesign, and reporting. Able to translate customer requests into concise technical requirements.

Interpersonal/ Communication Skills:
- Able to actively/effectively participate in the community of practice of enterprise and upstream information management, architecture and records management functions.
- Able to clearly convey concepts and project information orally, and in written form. Able to distill complex data/application issues into a few simple points, and communicate with key project stakeholders. Responsive to customer feedback and improvement suggestions. Listens empathically, seeks clarification when needed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualification (Education, Work Experience, English and Computer Skills):
o Bachelor degree or higher in Information Technology, Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or any related fields
o At least 5 years experience in Information Technology.
o Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred and is an advantage of being familiar with applying IT technologies with the earthscience and engineering fields.
o Knowledge and experience in SharePoint, Documentum, CoreWork is preferred.
o Knowledge and experience in database Structured Query Language (SQL), Oracle’s SQL programming language (PL/SQL), Crystal Report is beneficial.
o Knowledge and skill in Windows/Unix operating systems is beneficial.
o Well-developed interpersonal and team working skills
o Disciplined and structured work habits
o Good English verbal, written and presentation skills – minimum TOEIC score 650
