The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, seeks expertise for offshore mega-projects in Canada.

**This opportunity is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only, specifically residents of Nova Scotia**

The Role:
The project Information Management Lead is responsible for development, implementation, and ongoing support for all Information Management aspects of the project in accordance with Company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop project-specific Information Management plans and oversee implementation and ongoing utilization, adhering to corporate policies, guidelines, and procedures, as provided.
- Interface with, direct, and support project stakeholders on all IM practices and requirements, including internal project team members, document control clerks, and external contractors
- Support various Information Technology tools used for IM, including: LAN folders and project document database, SharePoint, and website
- Input into contracting, procurement and project management documents and procedures to ensure clear communication of IM and Document Control (DC) standards and requirements
- Direct activities of project Document Controller and support as necessary, including receiving, cataloguing, organizing, uploading, and otherwise manipulating incoming or existing electronic data to create reports or other information products

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Expert level proficiency in project Information Management skill area (experience in Oil and Gas industry an asset)
- Skill and experience in a leadership setting, with supervision and training of document control personnel
- High proficiency in Document Control IT tools, databases, and administrative procedures
- 10+ years industry working experience in areas of technical administrative support and document management, preferably with some experience in supervisory/management roles
- High-level computer user with keyboarding skills and experience in database manipulation, scanning and the use of Microsoft products
