The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
For our client we are looking for an Information Management – Subject Matter Expert. Key responsibilities include:

Consultative services
- Designing and developing high quality IM solutions
- Obtaining an in-depth understanding of the various IM policies, procedures and standards
- Using policies, procedures and standards to provide expert Information Management consulting and advice where required
- Working with functional user groups to identify opportunities and translate those into work requests or projects
- Contributing to the continual improvement of IM framework
- Assisting functional user groups in analysing needs and providing appropriate level of enterprise support
- Assisting with determining the scope of work required for IM projects
- Attending relevant meetings and becoming an advocate of IM services to key customers
- Acting as the escalation point of contact for Information Management related issues
- Ensuring Information Management Systems are managed effectively and in line with corporate standards and customer requirements
- Providing subject matter expertise to Information Management / Technology projects as required as well as coaching business stakeholders and other IM practitioners

Input into strategic direction
- Setting a strategic path that aligns and compliments the strategic direction provided by the different parts of the business
- Assisting and influencing IM standards set by the different parts of the business by building a compelling case based on business needs sourced from customers

Operational Excellence
- For published business processes specific to the team, proactively identify improvement opportunities by analysing business, process and system performance, and provide recommendations on improvement opportunities to the Lead
- Implementing processes to ensure Quality Assurance standards are met

Relationships
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships

Management Reporting
- When required, producing reports and trend analysis for key the organisation or for designated departments to assist in monitoring IM performance
- Performing rigorous analysis to identify potential value creating opportunities, developing cohesive conclusions, and presenting key findings at the executive level

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas industry. Qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
