The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Information Services;
* Researches, analyses and synthesises information into accurate answers or actionable information for clients.
* Keeps abreast of and advises Library Coordinator of up-to-date legal and regulatory developments in the area of copyright compliance.

Information Resources;
* Assists with managing library related information.
* This includes recommending selection, purchasing, classifying, cataloguing, disseminating and discarding materials, and partnering with the Chevron Global Library to purchase new materials.
* Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the content and format of information resources, including the ability to critically evaluate, select and filter them.
* Maintains current awareness of applicable emerging technologies..

Marketing & Communications;
* Assists Library Coordinator with Library communications, training initiatives and intranet pages. Infolink Operations. Produces required metrics to continually measure the quality and value of information services and resources.
* Assists with operational and financial management processes.
* Efficiently manages timely close-out of own customer support calls.
* Supports maintenance and continual improvement of Infolink business controls, processes, and technologies .

Information Management;
* Team Functional Support. Fosters and supports Information Management best practice.
* Supports Information Management on-boarding and clearance process.
* Develops personnel knowledge of, and commitment to key behaviours required for successful Information Management and shares knowledge with IM Team.

People and Teams;
* Attends monthly IM team meeting.
* Participates as a member of Chevron Library Network.
* Participates in local professional association activities.
* Shares information resources and expertise with local, collaborative group of industry librarians

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Degree or near completion of a Degree in an Information Management related discipline (specifically Library Science) preferred.
* Minimum 5+ years in a similar role, preferably within the Exploration & Production industry.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Thorough understanding of the principles, practices and techniques of Library management (paper, electronic and online service providers), and experience of successful Library solution implementation (technology and process based).
* Demonstrated understanding of applicable Web 2.0 and social networking tools and technologies in a corporate library environment
* Proficiency with MS Office applications, and experience of online publication service providers and solution providers.
* Strong customer focus.
* Excellent communication skills, including liaison, consultation and presentation skills
* Solid understanding of how to effectively introduce change in a complex environment, together with demonstrated capacity to learn new skills and integrate new knowledge into existing work activities.
* Methodical and practical approach to issue prevention and problem solving.
* Ability to work under pressure.
