The Company:
An international oil&gas company

The Role:
Summary: FIFO- 10/4-Surate Basin including Gladstone and various sites. Mainly Surat Basin

to lead the strategic planning, project delivery, maintenance design and demobilisation of all supporting field infrastructure (non- operating/production plant) as well as multi-user support services.
The scope includes all field offices (permanent and demountable) and facilities (supply bases, warehouses etc), camp infrastructure and ancillary buildings and support infrastructure such as sewage treatment plants, bores / potable water plant.

Main accountabilities:
• Lead the strategic planning, project delivery, maintenance design and demobilisation of field offices (permanent and demountable) and facilities, all camp infrastructure and ancillary buildings (e.g. workshops and warehouses), and infrastructure such as sewage treatment plants, bores / potable water plants, buildings
• Technical design of long term maintenance strategy for all CBS managed field infrastructure
• Connect camps to mainline electricity
• Develop strategy for temporary power management
• Manage the contracts associated with field infrastructure and shared services (multi-user contracts) to support field works – including, but not limited to power generation, waste management, equipment hire and hire of modular buildings
• Proactive focus on asset optimisation and divestment strategy
• Delegate appropriate responsibility for actions and decisions in areas of responsibility
• Communicate project status, progress and impact to the Head of Central Business Services
• Ensure effective business transition, change management and communication activities are undertaken in support of infrastructure activities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience required in general construction including:
• Electrical – generators, HV
• Civil and Earthworks – access roadways, lay downs
• Camp Infrastructure – STP’s, spray fields, accommodation
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent project management experience;
• Demonstrated ability to take a strategic approach to the acquisition and development of field/site based infrastructure works;
• Proven ability to effectively manage and deliver complex acquisition, fit out and construction projects through all the project stages (from initiation of a business case through to operational handover) within budget and schedule;
• In-depth knowledge of environmental health and safety legislation and Australian standards as application to the Operation;
• Capability to accept and manage ambiguity / complexity in projects and guide teams in dealing effectively with change barriers and project constraints;

• Experience working in the Oil and Gas industry
