The Role:
OVERVIEW
This position is based in the Contractor’s Project Office in Bergen with travel to various vendors / suppliers in Norway and throughout Europe. Work is related to the equipment manufacture, assembly and test of a Subsea Pumping Station.

REPORTS TO
Quality Assurance Coordinator

MAIN FUNCTIONS
• Promote safety within area of specialty
• Perform quality / inspection oversight over contractor quality inspection / verification activities. Activities such as:
• Forging processes
• Heat treatment
• Welding and fabrication
• Valve manufacture and test
• Piping processes
• Pressure test
• Factory Acceptance Testing
• Inspection Release
• Support Quality Assurance Coordinator on various activities such as:
• Procurement monitoring
• Vendor performance
• Perform surveillance activities, quality inspection activities in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
• Review and evaluate Contractor’s and Suppliers’ quality documents for accuracy and adequacy as guided by QAC
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), final inspection release activities, review of supplier Quality Control documents and support closure of punch list items
• Provide routine status updates, issue reports and Quality Metrics to Quality Assurance Coordinator and project team as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor or Associates degree in Engineering or Science preferred or 10+ years experience in the Oil & Gas industry in a project Quality role
• Pressure Testing, FAT
• Valves
• CWI or CSWIP -SNR Welding Inspector, Radiological Interpretation
• Must be proficient in common PC software (MS Word, MS Excel, etc)
• Read, write and speak fluent English with strong management, leadership and communication skills

Experience
• Implementation of project specific specifications, national and international codes and standards
• Welding, fabrication of duplex stainless steel
• Forging, heat treatment and knowledge of NORSOK 650
