The Role:
Responsibilities:
• Operate dedicated software for inspection planning and analysis.
• Collect, maintain and update documents pertaining to offshore installations and inspection records during operation.
• Ensure the traceability and follow up reports.
• Coordinate site inspection activities as arranged by the superior in liaison with Offshore team.
• Liaise with other operational departments for implementing remedial actions at completion of the inspection campaigns.
• Participate in negotiation for service contracts, bid evaluations, and selection of service contractors.
• Assist in setting up and implementing the Inspection procedures as well as the Inspection Plan according to Company operations.
• Assist in preparing the annual work program and budget of Inspection and Corrosion and also monitoring and controlling expenditures under responsibility.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments of inspection techniques for future possible use.
• Will be assigned to prepare work scope, follow up operation project, mobilize and supervise contractors' work onsite until completion.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineer
• 8-10 years experience in related field
• Accreditation as registered inspector will be considered advantageously.
• Knowledge of inspection methodology, techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of the standard codes applicable to inspection in oil field or a
similar industry
• Knowledgeable in contracts and contracting strategies.
• Inspection experience in the oil and gas production, refinery or petrochemical
operations, power plant or a similar industry. This includes inspection
program preparation, implementation, contractor work monitoring and
inspection analyses and technical/operational recommendations
