The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is looking for a Inspections Coordinator to assist the QA/QC Site based team.
Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Establishing and producing and maintaining the Company inspection schedule / plan.
• Raising and administering Company inspection assignments, expediting Inspectors timesheets and invoices from the Service Provider.
• Reviewing, distributing and filing inspection reports.
• Alert the Project Quality Manager and discipline / package engineers, with any major quality issues arising out of the inspection assignments.
• Coordination and arrangement of second party inspection.
• Review Contractor / Vendor quality procedures, quality plans and inspection and test plans for EPC phase and ensure any Company inspection intervention points are understood and actioned upon.
• If and when required participate in pre-inspection meetings with vendors in liaison with Company and Contractor QC and inspection personnel, and ensure the MOM’s are recorded.
• Ensure all inspection reports and quality records are fully endorsed, distributed and stored in a readily retrievable system.
• Well documented Inspection Assignments that comprise of all relevant document and other information required for the satisfactory QC inspection of the manufactured, fabricated or constructed items to be examined.
• The inspection coordinator’s role will be to identify and facilitate all Company inspection requirements in regard to procurement and or subcontracted package equipment and bulk materials prior to shipment to site.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
• Awareness of quality control coordination programs for Vendors, Subcontractors and if needed onsite inspection personnel.
• Communication with external manpower supplier companies.
• Set up and implement assignments.
• Coordination of inspection personnel.
• Excellent record keeping abilities.
• High Standard of Microsoft Office Skills and other software programs such as VIM’s
• Extensive experience in inspection coordination for major oil and gas or engineering projects.
• Firm understanding of how the process works for the procurement of equipment for oil and gas and or engineering projects.
• Understanding of the quality control of equipment fabrication and testing processes.
• Ability to interpret surveillance codes identified in inspection and test plans (IT&P).
