The Company:
Our client, a major oil & gas operator, is currently looking for an Inspection Engineer to add to their team.

The Role:
The Field Quality Team located in Houston, Texas is in need of a Third Party Inspector Coordinator for Gulf of Mexico completion tool supplier QAQC activities. This position will have daily communication with company suppliers in Louisiana and Houston, Quality Control Specialists, Quality Management Engineers and dedicated third party inspectors. The position will be located in Houston in the Energy Corridor.

Responsibilities:
• Setting a clear leadership example and promoting a high degree of HSE awareness among project stakeholders
• Taking calls from completions suppliers and dispatching appropriate third party personnel from a controlled list of dedicated personnel
• This is a critical role and requires the candidate to be on call during weekends and nights.
• Typical office hours are 7:00 am to 4:00pm.
• Track daily third party inspector job locations, tool type, well name using a spreadsheet
• Develop graphs of third party inspector daily activity and NCR trends
• Depending on level of activity the candidate may be required to track third party non-conformances on a spreadsheet and send to suppliers for corrective / preventative action

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Requirements:
• High School diploma
• Prefer a minimum of two years of relevant oilfield third party coordinating experience
• Professional and accountable
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to create graphs and charts in Excel.

Preferences:
• General knowledge of completion tools
