The Role:
Responsible for Turnaournd Inspection Planning for various plants with a fixed equipment asset inventory in excess of 2,300 pressure vessels and 8,000 piping circuits. Expert level consultant recognized by all as an expert in Asset Integrity, Turnaournd Inspection Planning, Reliability Engineering and API, ASME and RoK Inspection code compliance. Exercises complete technical independence. Leads efforts to resolve Reliability issues which impact turnaround planning. Works closely with Process Best Practice experts to impliment turnaround inspection plans. Works closely with Area Lead Inspectors, Area Inspectors and Mechanical Integrity Engineers to develop and impliment turnaround plans and effectivly manage inspection resources within plant turnarounds. Works with Company to develop procedures and techniques to enhance equipment integrity. Responsilbe for inspection manpower planning and budget development to support turnaournds. On a daily basis supervises the work of 1 Technical Assistent position. During turnaround coordenates the work of contract inspection and NDT work force in excess of 70 persons.

-Contributes to maintaining an incident free operation which is in support of and in compliance with Companies Protecting People and the Environment policy
-Performs inspection turnaround planning overall for Company, including attending all IMPACT meetings.
-Identifies inspection staffing and resource requirements for turnarounds and creates budget plans.
-Coordenates and supervises inspection activites during turnarounds.
-Participates in decision making processes critical for operations in regards to inspection turnaround planning.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Technical education.
•Expert knowledge in Corrosion, Materials Engineering and Fixed Equipment Inspection methods in the Petrochemical Industry.
•Proven 15 years experience as a process plant unit inspector and with extensive inspection turnaround planning experience.
•Proven experience in coordenating and supervising inspection personnel during plant turnarounds.
•Certified under API 510 and API 570.
•Familiar with the IMPACT Process or similar structured turnaorund planning process.
•Familiar with Management of Change Processes.
•Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of computer software, Integrity Database Management Systems (i.e. Capstone, VIsions, etc.) and Computorized Maintenance Management Systems (i.e. JDE, SAP, etc).
