The Company:
Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects.
They are a growth company who can serve as a Sole Supplier, Joint Venture or Subcontractor. With a proven track record of delivering large scale complex projects they are a progressive and attractive company.

The Role:
We are currently sourcing an Inspection Services Coordinator to join the Stockport Office on an Agency contract hire basis for a 12-18 month period, extendable subject to workload.

The Inspection Services Coordinator is responsible for:

•Carry out inspection visits where necessary.
•The Review of Material Requisitions and definition of specific quality requirements and supplier data submission requirements.
•Review and mark up inspection activities on vendors quality plans/ ITP’s
•Reviewing Purchase Order (PO) scopes and associated inspection requirements and establish a register and budget.
•Preparing a detailed inspection scope based on Project Inspection Plan.
•Evaluation of available Internal or External inspection personnel; confirm availability and conformation to Client requirements.
•Developing an Inspection Assignment Package and issuing Package to the assigned inspector.
•Coordination of Project inspection activities.
•Issuing of Project Inspection Reports.
•Confirmation of technical compliance and resolution of design changes.
•Coordinating resolution of Quality Non-Conformances and Deficiencies.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Relevant qualifications and typically 10 years relevant industry experience.
•Thorough understanding of the principles and practice of supplier inspection management.
•Team player.
•Communication skills – verbal, written – to report standard.
•Strong coordination skills.
•Demonstrable capabilities in quality planning and resourcing for projects.
•Experience in managing a team of inspectors.
•Relevant formal qualifications and relevant experience i.e. BTEC or NVQ level 4 or equivalent
•Must be an experienced inspector/ coordinator.
•Must be IT literate (Microsoft Software).
•Must be proactive and able to work with little direct supervision but also form part of a project team as required.
•Must be flexible in ability to adapt to different project requirements and environments.
