The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil & Gas Operator

The Role:
Reporting to the Integrity & FM Team Superintendent, you will be responsible for the overall planning, co-ordination, execution and management of all asset integrity topside inspections for both onshore and offshore facilities. You are required to review and challenge inspection strategies, procedures and new technologies to ensure accurate, cost effective inspection results.
Key responsibilities include:
• Ensure the annual plan is constructed from equipment due dates, review historical data, and appropriate inspection techniques are selected.
• Developing & maintaining a strategic five year plan
• Ensure thorough preparation and organisation of the integrity inspection scope of work for all facilities seeking additional guidance from integrity engineers as required
• Control implementation of inspection and specialist sub contractors and responsible for managing all inspection related costs and ensure value for money is achieved
• Responsibility to ensure all inspection reports are fully reviewed for QA/QC compliance, clarity, accuracy and fulfilment of scope.
• Responsibility to ensure inspection teams competence is demonstrable and maintained.
• Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a monthly Integrity & FM Team report capturing team KPI’s and headline reporting; develop KPI’s as required by the wider team to support and monitoring integrity & FM activity; produce an annual topside inspection statement to directly support the Annual Summary Reports produced by Integrity Engineers in Q1.
• Assist integrity engineers in the categorisation and assessment of ad-hoc inspections and repair orders in terms of priority, severity and accuracy.
• Ensure the provision of technical support on integrity / inspection issues to integrity engineers with regard to preparation and authorising written schemes of examination and workscopes
• Ensure the provision of inspection technique & methodology advice to field inspection technicians where required, and perform on site inspection tasks/audits as and when required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Sound knowledge of Oil and Gas processes, engineering standards, relevant legislation requirements and management principles is advantageous
• Ideally an engineering background to HNC standard with a detailed knowledge and experience of non-destructive inspection techniques
• Knowledge of the latest PSSR regulations, test and inspection techniques and limitations to their application, working knowledge of the process systems and wider equipment to be inspected.
• Strong leadership skills and an ability to develop others whilst providing guidance to all team engineers.
