The Role:
Responsible for the installation of all equipment/facilities included in the SURF and SPS package.
Develop/review the technical Scope of work related to installation to be included in the SURF contract and SPS installation contract.
Manage with contract manager the pre-contract award clarifications and technical evaluations/recommendation related to installation topics.
Assist, manage and organize with contract team the contract build-up and orders in relation with installation aspects.
Pro-actively manage the Scope of Work for all topic related to installation.
Pro-actively liaise with Technology, Drilling, Operations, Contractor, Sub-Contractors, Vendors and certifying agency teams on all aspects of the project.
Liaise with interface team and actively contribute to the resolution of interfaces
Prepare and present Technical dossiers
Ensure that procedures and rules are developed and applied in accordance with the latest edition
Control and approve, when appropriate, the specifications, requisitions, design procedures, layouts, arrangements and cause & effect charts.
Ensure that all relevant documentation created by the Contractors is reviewed and commented on by the relevant specialists within the appropriate time frame.
Ensure deliverables will meet Quality Requirements and adequate Quality Surveillance is implemented.
Coordinate mobilization of subsea equipment, tooling, vessel, personnel for offshore installation
Try and optimize with planner the installation campaign against COMOPS and contractor’s vessel availability.
Manage the preparation of the pre-commissioning with the pre-commissioning lead and assist operations for commissioning/start-up activities.
Prepare authorities applications for authorizations and consents.
Positively represent the Company at Contractor premises, sites and on vessels during offshore construction, as and when required.
Develop effective and constructive relationships with contractor representatives in a manner that enables a high level of value to be obtained.
Report to Edradour Project Manager and inform of any potential problems in a pro-active manner.
Continually seek learning opportunities to further their technical capability and openly share knowledge with other team members.
Assist project manager with HR for the recruitment of personnel for installation purposes.
Safely deliver the facilities on time and within budget.
Demonstrate commitment to SHE through Personal Safety Performance Contract.

Environment : the field is located in 300 meters water depth and is situated some 85km north west of a coast.

Budget and cost management against time/quality/ budget/client satisfaction and safety
Ensure multi-discipline technical aspects are managed competently, minimising cost and optimising company/contractor labour force, while ensuring safety and environmental issues are paramount
Ensure appropriate channel of communication is maintained with management at all levels to ensure operational difficulties are focused on by the relevant expert and that problems are anticipated early and are solved in a timely manner.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degreee is an appropriate technical discipline.
Significant project management experience (planning, cost control, contracting)
Strong knowledge of statutory policies and procedures in relation to installation works and project management
Strong knowledge of oil and gas facilities design, construction and operation with offshore experience gained in the North Sea
Ability to represent the Company both internally and externally at a management level
Significant installation works management experience (raising / reviewing procedures, specifications, technical reports, and management of personnel).
Considerable industrial experience with successful experience as an engineering manager
