The Role:
The Installation Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for the coordination and timely completion of various activities regarding the Floatover Installation Engineering for Integrated CPP Deck. The Installation Engineer is a team member of a high performance work team and will work with other team members in matters relating to the engineering, procurement, fabrication, inspection, installation, testing and documentation of the project facilities.

• Reviews all technical deliverables from the FEED and EPCI Contractor performing the floatover transportation and installation engineering.
• Reviews the facilities transportation and installation procedures and plans to ensure that all work conforms with Project technical requirements.
• Reviews the facilities transportation and installation schedules developed by the T&I Contractor to ensure that Project target milestones are met.
• Support the response to Request For Information and Technical Queries. Participation in Hazard Identification Studies, risk assessments and other associated workshops.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• More than 15 years experience in oil and gas industry project development and execution.
• Demonstrated T&I experience with knowledge of design practices for offshore greenfield Floatover Designs.
• Demonstrated T&I experience with knowledge of Project construction management, planning, transportation and installation specifications and procedures and risk assessments.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels, balance the needs and wants of multiple stakeholders. Proven cultural sensitivity and is able to exercise patience and understanding of cultural differences.
• Demonstrated ability to interact and influence Contractor’s staff; and strong leadership, technical and planning skills to manage large volumes of engineering work activity.
