The Company:
Our Client one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in Europe.

The Role:
Job Purpose: •
• Oversee the preparation of the installation plan, assurance of all installation vessels that they are fit for purpose.
• Ensures that all vessels have Company representation on board.
• Quality assurance and completion of the built data.

Responsibilities / Key Objectives: •
• Input to subsea planning, design and execution activities
• Review URF Contractor deliverables for compliance with Project requirements and ensure comments are properly returned within required timescales
• Management of installation engineering specialists who are providing particular input to the work
• Particular reference to the supply of materials to the URF contractor as agreed
• Risk Management and EHS activities to ALARP standards
• Ensure that all subsea engineering activities comply with company standards and governmental regulations
• Input to budgets and AFE level cost estimates for subsea activities
• Provide offshore supervision for subsea activities
• Responsible for all contractor interfacing
• Ensures that all work within the area of responsibility are adequately documented and lessons learned are captured for the benefit of future Company operations worldwide

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Masters/Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent
Chartered Engineer
Experience as deep water installation manager with operating companies, extensive subsea construction experience.
Experience of managing sizeable offshore construction contracts
Extensive knowledge of subsea installation methods
Significant subsea experience recently in water depths greater than 800 meters
Demonstrated URF technical responsibility and commercial awareness with deepwater developments
Developed technical/engineering management and interpersonal skills
Awareness and sensitivity to multinational exposures and cultures
