Our client, a major owner/operating company, seeks expertise for offshore mega-projects in Canada.This opportunity is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only. First consideration will be given to residents of Newfoundland & Labrador.

The Role:
As a Technical Foreperson you will be responsible for:

- Act as Company installation on-shift representative during offshore execution phase
- Responsible for on-vessel safety, quality and incident response case management
- Providing the interface between the work force and the Vessel Lead
- Steward Implementation of site safety, Quality and emergency response plans
- Monitor vessel Condition/readiness
- Serve as day-to-day interface with contractor craft labour during the offshore execution phase providing a focus on safety, quality, cost and schedule
- Verify arrival of procured and engineering equipment
- Interface with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues/progress
- Participate, coach and assist contractor Personnel in effective pre-task planning measures in JSA's and Toolbox meetings

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Working Offshore as a Installation Technical Foreperson you are required to have the following qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years offshore installation (Pipelay and subsea) experience (including management of change, risk assessment processes and procedure reviews)
- Minimum 1 year offshore installation vessel supervisory experience working as Client Representative in Oil and Gas Projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Excel and common E-mail systems
- Fluent in English

Physical Demands:

- Must be able to obtain an industry accepted Basic Safety/Survival Training
- Must be able to obtain valid Offshore Medical
- Must be able to obtain Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHIMIS) or Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
