The Role:
The scope of responsibilities for this role are as follows:
HSE Oversight and Monitoring on the Vessel
 Be familiar with the HSE Bridging Documents and Procedures for the vessel.
 Take part in all vessel JSA’s or Tool Box talks on the vessel
 Preparation of the HSE section of daily and weekly status reports to be supplied to the Vessel Site Representatives
 Report and definable incidents per HSE procedures.
 Take part in and/or lead incident investigations.
 Fill the required HSE interface role in the Emergency Repsonse Plan in the event of an incident.
 Onsite/on-vessel supervision of the Offshore Installation activities.
 Holding a handover meeting with the other HSE representatives between shifts (12/12 hrs) as well as for the relief (28/28 days)
 Keeping the Vessel Site Representatives aware of and HSE issue that need his attention
 Filing any required reports in the Repsol HSE GAMA reporting system.

Management of Change
 Responsible to assure HSE component of the process is adhered to by all Installation Contractors. Project Change Management system run by the Quality Control Manager
 Analyse and verify the safety impact of any variance/change orders associated with Offshore Installations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Minimum of 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry, 5 years relevant Construction and Offshore Installation experience.
 Fluent in English
 Ability to speak and understand Spanish helpful but not required.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified or have equivalent working experience in this role in the offshore oil and gas industry. As well as the basic qualifications, the Platform Site Representative should have capability in written and verbal presentation, administration and organisation.

A minimum of BOSIET and valid medical are required for offshore work.
