The Role:
•Provide immediate engineering support for facilities following breakdowns or process upsets
•Work the near-term time horizon, 12 week or less. Deliver assigned engineering activities within 12 week plan
•Deliver defect elimination and continuous improvement, minimising losses and ensuring that repeat failures do not occur
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the resolution of I&C engineering issues on the Deep Water platforms and providing first line support and technical leadership on all I&C issues.

The role involves a strong element of coaching and mentoring of Graduate engineers with the aim of achieving long term and sustained full I&C Engineering support within Azerbaijan.
•Delivery of a long term sustained Instrument & Control (I&C) engineering capability within the Area Engineering Team
•Provide front line I&C engineering support for the Deepwater offshore facilities
•Provide I&C technical leadership and assurance in the areas of safety, facility design integrity and management
•Coach, mentor and contribute to the professional development of graduate I&C engineers
•Identify requirements for plant modifications and improvements and manage the scoping and implementation of modifications using the Management of Change process within approved standards and procedures.
•Liaise with the discipline engineers and technical authorities to ensure consistent application of engineering standards and the development and implementation of shared learning.
•Participate in and lead HAZOPs, design reviews and risk assessments
•Make trips to offshore platforms on a regular basis/as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified or equivalent in I&C Engineering with Chartered I&C Engineer or similar professional status
•Strong experience in I&C Engineering
•Proven history in operation of oil & gas and produced water processing equipment and systems
•Strong interpersonal, influencing and communications skills
