The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company

The Role:
Based in Tengiz on a 28/28 rotation, workdays are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday-Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Weather is warm to hot in the summer (110 F is not unusual) and cold to very cold in winter (as cold as –40 F).

The Facilities Engineering (FE) Capital Project Team provides project engineering, drafting, and design services to support capital construction
program. This includes responsibility for work on a wide variety of facilities, including:
• Onshore production facilities (well sites, flow lines, gathering lines, metering stations, central flow manifolds)
• Oil/gas separation and processing
• Gas sweetening
• Acid-gas processing
• Sulfur handling, storage, and shipping
• LPG-product fractionation, storage, and shipping
• Crude-oil storage and shipping
• Rail-loading facilities for all products
• Tengiz-area infrastructure including roads, warehousing, and camps

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The FE Instrument / Electrical Designer works with a broad scope of responsibilities in instrument and electrical design on multiple, concurrent,
small capital projects (typically $1MM – 15MM). Assignments may vary from small project installations to major turnarounds projects to new facility
construction. These projects may include elements of foundation design, structural steelwork design, building layouts and plot plans. The FE
Instrument / Electrical Designer shall be accountable for the quality of all aspects of a project design for which he or she has responsibility, from
the beginning of CPDEP Phase 3 through Phase 5. Specific Work Responsibilities include the management of the following activities to
completion:
• Fully conversant with AutoCAD. Possess a working knowledge of Microstation.
• The use and understanding of the document management system Documentum.
• Fully conversant with Micro-soft windows and a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and all other Window packages.
• Work well within a group and team comprising of varying nationalities.
• Provide support and advice to external engineering contractors.
